New Locking Device Improves Security of Severe Duty Ball Valves
High Pressure Equipment Company introduces a new locking device for its trunion style ball valves. The locking device ensures protection from unauthorized use and can be used on HiP trunion style ball valves with orifices of 187" and .375" in two-way and three-way valve configurations in both opened and closed positions. HiP's trunion style design is an ideal ball valve for severe duty applications, with effective shut-off of liquid or gas flow through 20,000 psi at 350 ºF.
HiP ball valves are constructed with 316 stainless steel to ensure consistent operation under even the most severe applications. Air actuators are available for remote control operation of all HiP ball valves. A large selection of tube sizes are available, ranging from 1/16" to 1". Optional O-rings are available upon request, as well as alternate materials of construction. In addition to trunion style, HiP also features a line of two-way free-floating ball valves. These valves accommodate tubing sizes from 1/16" to 9/16" and provide effective shut-off up to 20,000 psi. High Pressure Equipment offers trunion style ball valves with orifices of .187", .375" or .500". The two-way ball valve can be shut off completely with a convenient ¼ turn. The three-way ball valve requires a ½ turn to change port outlets and shut off completely, while an optional diverter style three-way ball valve requires only a ¼ to change port outlets.
