Erie, PA - October 22, 2013 - High Pressure Equipment Company (HiP), one of the world's leading manufacturers of specialty valves for high pressure applications, recently celebrated the opening of their new, expanded manufacturing plant at an open house Saturday, September 21st. The open house was attended by many of HiP's customers, suppliers and business partners.

After experiencing sustained growth over the past several years, High Pressure Equipment made plans earlier this year to relocate to a larger plant within the Erie area. In connection with the move, HiP plans to add additional jobs to help meet growing customer demands across all product lines as well as other capital investments, including new machinery.

President of High Pressure Equipment Larry Loper commented, "We are very pleased with the new manufacturing facility and are now better equipped to handle the increased demand for our products. We believe our new facility in Erie provides the ideal environment for us to fulfill the needs of our global customer network." Loper added, "In addition, the area's highly skilled workforce is essential in helping High Pressure Equipment Company meet our aggressive growth targets."

The company's new 43,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility is located at 2955 W. 17th Street in Erie, PA.
