L3 Series Portapack
The SHS Portapack has been designed with the offshore pressure testing market in mind. Utilizing an SC L3 Series air driven pump, this series has six ratios, of which the highest (-125) can reliably generate pressures up to a maximum of 15,500 psi (1068 bar) using either oil or water as the hydraulic medium. Operating air pressure varies from 15 psi (1.03 bar) to 125 psi (8.62 bar). Air drive consumption varies between 5-15 scfm (0.14 - 0.43 m3/min).
Pump wetted parts are stainless steel as standard. Optional seal materials are available for special fluids or applications.
The L3 Series pump is securely mounted on a stainless steel tubular framework which is complete with a 1/4" BSPF air filter/ regulator, 63mm dia air pressure gauge and on/off air valve.
A tough 1.1 gal (5 liter) plastic reservoir complete with integral suction strainer and filler/breather provides the pump liquid source, high pressure components as standard include a stainless steel pressure isolation and vent valve, a 4" dia (100mm) high pressure gauge, accurate to +/- 1% FSD, dual scale psi/bar, and interconnecting stainless steel pipework and/or nipples.
HP outlet pressure connection is 1/4 NPTF for models up to -65 and for ratio -125 an A.E. style port is provided.
Each unit is factory pressure tested prior to dispatch and pressure test certificates are available upon request.
Include a hand lever attachment for manual operation which can be factory fitted or retrofitted later, ideal for locations without an air supply or where precision pressure control is required.
When ordering just specify the SC pump model required in the pack.
